Former Brumby ready for Military Cup revenge

Former ACT Brumbies player Isabelle Atkinson-Smith is ready to get revenge on defending champions New Zealand when she runs out with her Defence Force teammates at the Pacific Military Cup this weekend.

Atkinson-Smith is a Flying Officer in the Air Force and was also a part of the Brumbies inaugural Super W squad, but now she's ready to fight hard to win the two-day competition.

"Considering we lost the cup last year by just two points, we're ready to bring our best," Atkinson-Smith said.

Atkinson-Smith had to put her rugby career on hold after she was posted abroad for the Air Force, yet has now returned to the nation's capital and is eager to get back to the top.
